I’ve been noticing more and more discussions across different online communities about how people manage multiple accounts on the same platforms, and it made me start wondering how strict these systems actually are in practice. Some users claim they can easily switch between profiles without issues, while others say they suddenly get flagged even when doing completely normal actions. I’m especially curious about how platforms decide what counts as “suspicious behavior,” since from a user perspective it often feels random and inconsistent. It would be interesting to understand whether these restrictions are mostly automated or if there is still some human review involved in borderline cases.

I think a lot of what you’re noticing comes down to how automated these systems have become. In my experience, platforms rarely explain things clearly because most decisions are triggered by background risk models rather than a single action. I’ve had cases where nothing obvious happened, but later I found out it was just “pattern detection” from login behavior. It definitely feels inconsistent, but I don’t think there is much human review unless the case is escalated.
